MECSS What is MECSS?The Structured Mechanism for the Exchange of Experiences in South-South and Triangular Cooperation (MECSS) is an initiative by the PIFCSS that promotes mutual learning and capacity building among countries. Its objective is to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and best practices in cooperation topics, supporting joint development at both regional and global levels.This mechanism is part of Strategic Objective 1 of the 2024-2030 Strategy, which seeks to strengthen national cooperation systems in the region. Since its implementation, MECSS has served as the stage for more than a hundred knowledge exchanges among Ibero-American countries, addressing both challenges and opportunities in institutional, regulatory, and management areas. Its ultimate goal is to strengthen cooperation through the exchange among key actors in the National Cooperation Systems. Contribution to the Exchange of ExperiencesThrough MECSS, countries can access a structured platform to share and learn from the experiences of others. This mechanism facilitates direct exchange among key actors in South-South cooperation, promoting innovative practices and effective solutions to common challenges.
